This is such an interesting technique, I love the possibilities it has, the reversibility of the finished woven cloth adds even more possibilities. Thank you for generously sharing as always Jude ❤

Even though I do my own version of this ( that I overdye-which helps keep everything stable during that process) I must try this method!

so simple, even a child like me could do it! seriously though, i like that a child COULD do it with just materials they would have on hand. Love this. i think i'll try it using some pleated silk ribbon-been wondering about that for a while. now i have a good excuse.

Formidable, you seems like a natural talent, how easy you play with it. Sorry for my English but I hope you understand what I mean to say.

I so love this .I just did one with K3n on her channel of slowstitch over 52 weeks. the only worry I have is ,I really do not like frayed edges. I have tried to like it and have attempted a few scrolls and a needlebook with frayed bits but it really is not me. you have taught me the invisible baste and it has saved my desire to keep learning to sew. can I do neat weaving?
