I think your flying pig block is just lovely, and you absolutely should not restart it. Adding a strip on the sides to give your self the required seam allowance seems like a good solution. I would happily bet money that no one will notice unless you point out out! Also, I love what you did with the Alice fabrics!

Thank you 😊 I did wake up this morning with the realisation that I could finish the rest of the blocks and if I really can’t make it work I could them redo block 1 . I loved the Alice fabric and am very pleased with how the quilt turned out, I really didn’t want to cut it too small so that you lost the motifs etc. Thank you for watching and happy stitching 🧵

When I first saw your block of pigs and chicks, I thought it was so beautiful until you showed that it was crooked. I think that no body will know how it is supposed to look because it is gorgeous 🥰

I've just bought Dear Jane book last week. I got mine from Amazon easy peasy! Lol I'm doing EPP, which I find very relaxing and thought perhaps I would have a go at the Dear Jane by hand. I watch Jennifer 'Calculated Stitcher' a teacher in US( such a lovely scatty lovely lady) and she's doing the quilt with her mum. I would recommend you to have a look. She does cross stitch too. Loved your 'Alice in Wonderland '😀. I don't think you should start the 'pigs fly' top, you've put all that work into it and there's nothing wrong with it. Nobody is going to know that it's not the same as the original design! The only thing I can think of with your droopy circle middle( sorry can't remember name) is that you've cut it so it stretches. Apparently there's two ways, something to do with bias? Really enjoyed this video Kirsty. Enjoy what you choose to stitch. Life's too short🤗

I must've just had a break from the audio I was listening to. Yes I am giving it serious thought but I'm not sure about the old-fashioned fabric and I'm not clever with colours. I prefer shades of colour. I will have to go to the local fabric shop in my local 'town' lol😝

I watch Jennifer too she is one of my favourite flosstubers, always so much haul 😍 her Dear Jane blocks are immaculate aren’t they, it must be the mathematician in her 😂 I wondered if the ‘droopy circle’ as it shall now be called 😂 was a bias issue, honestly I was pulling my hair out with it. For your colour choice concern I would recommend a fat quarter bundle, all the work is done for you then 😁

I'll try to go to the fabric shop tomorrow,depends if I feel brave enough lol. Jennifer must be the number one person haul wise lol, even more than Brenda and Laura. I've a feeling I may have the most recent Dear Jane book. It's got a blue surround and has revised 25th Anniversary edition on it. It must be the same pattern though. I was looking at it last night and I'm pretty sure the diagrams would fit together after looking at the instructions 😁

@@mrsmiggins6435 you can go and not buy …. apparently 🤨 just have a look and get some advice, then think about it. Yes I think there are 2 editions of the book but both are the same inside. I will look forward to hearing/seeing what your plans are on the next zoom 😊
