Best part is they already nerfed it into the ground. That thing was an utter menace on release. Of course, if you run into anything in the Lake it has some sort of weird scaling that makes them super rippy.

But that was because I didn't update my chaos resistance until basically my second to last day of seriously playing the league. Who woulda thunk a 109% chaos resist ring would make a difference... I did, I was just too lazy to buy one. But besides that one asshole, I didn't find the rogues too much trouble compared to all the other shit in the lake. Sure, they're a little rippy. But compared to all that utter crap?

Everyone seems to be talking shit about the people that make POE but as a new players who has just started I can say this game is truly amazing for being a F2p game.. I dont understand why they get so much shit, the game is epic..I guess its just a bunch of sweaty virgins who have been playing it for 8 years that take it for granted or something idk..

I think the most vocal people are the ones who have been playing as you said for years and they are burnt out on the game and any mild obstruction and difficulty that wasn't there before just tilts them. The empys group debacle is just that they can't RMT as they used to do before and all the people jumped on the bandwagon to support them are kinda cringe.

Barring nuclear war or something, worse case scenario is WHOEVER people vote for drops it down to 70th percentile or something. The expectation should be for constant improvement, not a drop of even just one percentile. Last league, they released something broadly unpopular. We'll call it income taxes... I mean archnemesis. There was uproar, and after something like 5 patches, there was a general agreement. Although some people still didn't like in on principle, the numbers at least seemed relatively fair and the rebellion abated. Enter new league, and despite all those discussions about fair values, the values were all jacked up super high AGAIN. So people had to complain AGAIN. And it took something like 5 patches AGAIN to get it down to an amount that seemed fair.
