I find the best time to play to be right after I wake up, also I'd suggest using shields in dead cells more. They don't seem particularly usefull at first however they are really really good once you learn how to parry, I believe in you!

For Dead Cells, as long as your colors match the colors of your gear, you're good. Grab the color you're not using every once in a while just for the bigger HP increase.

Don't. Always choose your main colour. You'll need the damage later, and it scales exponentially.

Hades is just That Game for me. I've played it at least once a week since it was released on Switch, whenever I need something to do with my hands while watching a video or whatever I just go for that. I'm not even good at other roguelike games usually and they tend to stress me the hell out, but Hades is stress relief instead. (also: everyone hot)

Love that you took shield in Hades, but didn't use the blocking feature. The charge up attack that rushes you forward blocks all damage from that side.

I think Hades is an amazing game! I have over a 170 hours into it becaue it is so addicting once you get lots of permanent upgrades. And they're coming out with Hades 2 eventually

QUIN the shield in hades actually blocks all damage you take head on if you hold the bull rush charge thingy, it's actually really op

I was gonna recommend Risk of Rain 2, but then you mentioned it, lol. Instead, I'll try a long shot and recommend Tape to Tape. It's a hockey-roguelike that works surprisingly well. You might like it.

Ah, well there's your problem in Hades: you need more than one boon on at a time dude! You want as many as you can hold, ideally with complimentary bonuses. Ares and Aphrodite usually pair well, and Athena is good for defense if youre... Ahem. Roguelike-challenged, shall we say. (I only play on weenie baby mode and i STILL default to Athena first whenever possible to get that shield bonus)

blade rift is so broken, you can upgrade it and just dash over and over over enemies and you can't get hit but you build up a ton of rifts damaging them. also to get the good ending you have to beat hades 10 times!

The Bull and Gladiator guy are the reason I could never get into Hades. They are a wall for me, it doesn't matter how well I get through everything before them, they mess me up. I only managed to get past them once, got to Hades and beat his first healthbar only to lose shortly into the second. I stopped playing after that because I had no interest in fighting those 2 again

Tips for gungeon if you carry on playing it if you beat the dragon boss then caped bullets will spawn when they spawn don’t kill them leave them be kill every other enemy in that room then the caped bullet (they where a red cape) will ascend away do that 5 times and you get a charecter hope I could help
