I haven’t read the manga or watched the anime in about 4 or 5 years, and hearing about Chad reminded me of his abilities and how they were revealed to be Fullbring powers. The problem when japanese ppl use german words is: they translate it word by word... seele schneider translated soul cutter but in german we say Seelen Schneider. See the Problem? Soul = Seele but used in Kombination with other words we sometimes add a letter or two. And that's just the begining. I don't want to start with whole sentences. When they use it for spells it's not even close to german anymore.

Ichigo had so many "lancer" archetype characters backing him. (Uryu, Renji, Chad). But Uryu by far is the best. Uryu always felt like Ichigo's Sasuke. While Chad always felt like the protective older brother, and Renji felt more like a secondary rival, and almost a carbon copy in terms of character development.

​@@barbaraprice5389 I dont actually know what you mean with "actual German phrases" so i just translated them for you and explained a bit if theres something usefull to know Letzt Stil: Last Style - could be interpreted as "final Form" or more accurate "last transformation" Vollständig: Completed - Thats Letzt Stil but without the draw back of loosing your powers Sklaverei: Slavery - 6:30 if you want to rewatch the part where he said it Leiden Hant (Sanrei Shuto): Suffering Hand? - This one confuses me a bit because "Hant" isn't a german word but "Hand" is (meaning "hand" lol). I dont know if its just written incorrectly (even in the wiki) and is supposed to mean Hand or if it's an artistical choice to write it incorrect but close enough so everybody could unterstand what it's supposed to mean (i do the same from time to time). Eiter way it's supposed to mean "Suffering Hand" or "Suffering Grip". The "training for 7 days and 7 nights" probably gave it the name because "you will suffer" ("du wirst leiden") doing that xD Seele Schneider: Soul Cutter - Its actually a 1:1 translation in this case but if you would translate it from englisch to german is "SeeleN Schneider" or even more accurate "Seelenschneider" - this actually makes it easyer to pronounce in my opinion and i would always call it "SeeleNschneider" not "Seele Schneider". The way he pronounced it was actually perfect. Sprenger: Detonator - makes sense because its litteraly just a big boom boom - The S in sprenger is pronounced like the Sch in Schneider and the "ng" like in the english "ing" so its like "Schprenger" not "Spren Ger". 20:38 Lichtregen: Light rain - Salvo of arrows shooting from above - the "ch" in "Licht" is pronounced like a hissing cat without using the tip of your tongue. Ginto: Not german Heizen: Heating - The incantation "Renze Forumeru Venti Gral!" has only one german word in it which is Gral. It means grail.. Renze could again be misspelled and mean "Grenze" which means "Border" OR it could be really short for "rezitieren" which means "recite" - ill go with this one. Formeru could be translated from japanese to "Formel" in german or formular in english. Venti is italian for 20.. so lets look at the Kanji: If you take the Kanji and translate word for word "Venti" is written as ヴェント(Vu~ento) which means "Entlüftung" in german - so its venting. With a bit of phantasy "レンゼ・フォルメル・ヴェント・イ・グラール" becomes: "Ich rezitiere diese Formel um dich mit meinem Gral zu Entlüften!" - "I recite this formular to vent you with this grail." Complete nonsense but it sounds cool. Gritz: Not german - The incantation "Zielt Krieg von Kitz Hart Vierte!" actually has mostly german in it which suprises me looking at the abomination which is Heizen - an actual german word with an incantation that is just WTF. It could be translated as "Aim War from Kitz Hart the forth!" - thats at least how i would read it. I read "Kitz Hart" as a name because "Kitz" isn't a german word. "Hart" means "hard" but i dont know how to interepret this xD Wolke: Cloud - The incantation is "Ihn schenke Zweig!" which is all german but translates to "Him gifting twig!". "Schenke" could be short for "einschenken" which means "pour". In an acutally sentense you would say "Ich schenke dir ein Glaß Bier ein." - "Ill pour you a glass of beer". So you also could read the incantation as "Ill pour twigs!".. Quincy are funny. Blut Vene & Blut Arterie: Blood vein & Blood artery - 1:1 translation
