That's GGG not learning anything from PoE 1 and allowing bullshit "double dipping" scaling by stacking attributes. Pillar of the Caged unique staff grants insane AoE based on your INTELLIGENCE, Hand of Wisdom and Action gives you lots of damage based on your INTELLIGENCE, a single passive tree node will give you 200%+ increased damage with enough INTELLIGENCE, your INTELLIGENCE increases your mana which raises your effective life thanks to MoM, mana can give you more damage with Archmage (not applicable to this case but still relevant).
