Here is something that is misunderstood. Usually, coaches just can't leave the contracts without penalty. There is usually a "buyout" clause on both sides.

FYI for College Fans on the Full Ride Scholarship train.....the scholarships are privately funded through several athletics/alumni organizations. In fact, at the largest D1 institutions, the entire athletics department is privately funded. The scholarships are neither state nor federally funded. Only the department employee's salaries are paid with state funds if the school is public.

@@metpach bro, not everybody is cut out to be a pro in the NFL. His career is not guaranteed in terms of success in the NFL guys who have won the Heisman have been some of the biggest bust ever or guys who are projected to go high never reached the potential people thought they were why not stay in college earn a check and build generational wealth before you get there I mean 24 years old is not old at all plus if he does sit, it’s only gonna be for maybe a year or two or three tell that to Jordan love tell that to Aaron Rodgers

@@flyguy7825 We've turned college sports into something it was never intended to be. If he wants to stay and get paid that's fine. This is another grain of sand on the mountain. Everything about the system is flawed and breeds disloyalty, distrust, and will actually hurt the athletes in the end. But instead all everyone cares about is getting a bag and getting out.

I’m on a loaded team of guys that will be 1st to 2nd round picks and they’re offering me that much money in a state that has no income tax and I’m sitting in developing in the pros. If they can make it legal, i think money colege football players earn through NIL & eventually revenue share should be tied to how many years they spend at the same university so teams are built with more players invested in that program's long term success. So freshmen qualify for the low end pay while.seniors are granted the hihjest pay. Nothing stopping a player from transfering to another school, but they will get dropped down to freshmen earning.
@skywalker2759Күн бұрын

Nil needs no regulation if he going to regulate anything. Regulate the whole tournament. It's just a money Ponzi scheme but you guys always focus on the players
@kenyattaclay7666Күн бұрын
Do these guys not realize that what they are talking about is illegal & what hit the NCAA in trouble to begin with. The ONLY way you can set up any rules pertaining to salary & many of the other things they are talking about is for the players to have representation in the form of a union & have that collectively bargained otherwise it’s an antitrust violation.
@metpach2 күн бұрын
I'm all for nil. But, there has to be some sort of regulation that the NCAA and all these colleges have to agree to. We can't be having guys red shirt in the middle of the season, keep their eligibility, transfer and play until they're 24 years old. There needs to be some sort of cap on players, there needs to be some sort of parameters as far as eligibility. It's a clown show in the wild west.

Oh the Hypocrisy 😳😳Rob always talks about pro players not having loyalty to their teams and how much he hates it. He said he was glad that Pat Riley shut down the reported Jimmy Butler trade request. Don’t the teams sign contracts with the players.? If you feel the players should honor the contract they sign, then shouldn’t the team honor it as well? Or it’s ok to trade them before the contract is up but they can’t request a trade🤷🏽♂️

He needs to go pro. Arch is ready to take over right now. Quinn had issues with picks and fumbles. Sark had a weird loyalty to Quinn which is gonna get them smashed by Ohio State.
@juan.ramiro.vasquezКүн бұрын
Agreed. I don't have a team in the CFP. But around these Austin parts, it seems as though Sark is proving to Arch that UT will stay with HIM in the future no matter what, therfore helping keep that kid in Austin. I do not agree with this approach if it's true, but as a B1G guy, I think it should get interesting. I learned to stop counting Texas out. Their ability to win somehow, with AM and Vandy, then Clemson and ASU, is shocking. As a retired fighter, no real men care about sloppy stats ( you know, " Moral Victories").... Ac win is a win. And somehow they win. Stats don't matter = does anybody care that Quinn Ewers had "so many more passing yards " than Georgia in the SEC Champ Game? No. Because they can't kick a field goal to save themselves and win the SEC in their first year. Instead, we ALL remember that UGA won. If Texas wins it all now, lots of people will need therapy. AND UT will be relieved. If they lose, it's almost like they're just waiting for next year. It's weird.
