I just did a video on a terrific motor officer riding demo in my area. Their skills are beyond compare. I just came across your channel and I'm happy to support you and other fellow motovloggers. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from your channel. Keep up the great work and ride safe out there ...

Nice job! Any comments on doing with the most recent r1250rt vs previous models? Cheers

The newest 1250RT-P has pretty massive benefits over older dry-clutch versions (2012 and older) - Key being wet clutch and water cooling (Much more consistent power in slow-speed environment), fully adjustable suspension (no wallowing in rapid transitions), and adjustable power output at a push of a button, so I can dial in the amount of power I want depending on the course layout and surface appraisal. Ground clearance is great, turning radius is better than the 2016-2018 (not sure what the main difference is chassis-wise). These new BMW's are so easy to ride its a blast!

This is an excellent video! Great seeing the different points of view and the commentary really helped with understanding what you are doing with the bike. I have improved as a rider watching and learning while applying it to my riding.

Thanks and that's great to hear! Its very cool when I talk to riders who try this stuff out and find benefits. Very nice to hear indeed!

Fantastic Riding! On a right turn how do you push down with your right foot if you have to drag the rear brake? I have floorboards so maybe that’s why I am having difficulty.

I'm pushing on the heel portion when applying brake. The Harley works the same, just have my feet a bit further forward but same benefit/result. On the shift-lever side with the Harley I remove the 2nd shift lever (the one for up-shifts) so it gives me more room for this technique. Stay over the bike and use a little foot force to help both throw the bike over and help maintain your "center" position. Big help!

Masterful demo, sir. It's like watching Michelangelo paint. But you put good in you get good out. Practice and push yourself. Just masterful.

Can you explain what feet and forward do?
@PoliceMotorTraining
@PoliceMotorTraining Жыл бұрын
In his video I keep yelling "feet, feet, feet" to myself because I have been off the bike for a bit and after a few days of "tuning up" I noticed I was sloppy with the use of my feet to transition the bike from one direction to another, so I was politely reminding myself haha. "Forward" just refers to getting my weight forward asap so I can get on the throttle quickly. Again, I've been off the bike for a bit so my comfort and balance and instincts are a little rusty. Usually I would focus on more intricate details of my riding but unfortunately I needed to call out some of the basics in order to get a quick run out of me!

I was advised this was the quickest run of the competition, and was clean. However I was riding on behalf of BMW, so my timed run did not count for overall standings. Technically I could have competed as a civilian but I didn't want to ruffle any feathers, it was just an opportunity to show the abilities of the BMW against meaningful competition.

@@PoliceMotorTraining It's a great looking run, the narrative gives a lot of great ideas for practice techniques. Constantly working on this on a K1600, really appreciate your posts.
