I loved them using that, and that Shigaraki was such a badass against him probably without completely even understanding WHY taking his hands from him was so much worse than it would have been. To Overhaul's knowledge he would then no longer be able to fix the man who took him in, so it's worse than just losing the empire the man built and losing what he worked for. And Shigaraki, probably, didn't, KNOW. And DAMN was that just, freaking fantastic.

Actually, with a power like todoroki’s, it only said he can use fire from his left side, so technically every part of his LEFT said would be able to be set on fire. Overhauls hands getting cut off only made him quirkless because he could only use his quirk with his hand. What I’m getting at here is it varies with every quirk.

Im pretty sure that they mentioned quirk users having an extra joint in their pinky toe or something as an indication of the presence of a quirk. That being said, it is an interesting idea to have, like someone is confirmed to have a quirk but they have something like you described, so they go their whole lives never figuring it out, since civilians are not allowed to use their quirks publicly. ie. They end up thinking that their very slightly improved hearing is just the norm for everyone else when it is unique to them

Seriously, that's a test of fighting ability, not all heros are suited for that, not to mention that since they are robots, someone like Kaminari would have a massive advantage, or someone with an EMP quirk, or a quirk to control electronics or something, whilst someone like Koji would be screwed, the test is a concrete jungle, not a lot of animals and even fewer that can damage the robots, but he would be massively useful in a search and rescue operation for example. Also, if Momo knew the genetic makeup of Minetas quirk, could she do his job just better because she doesn't have the limits that he does?

Now I really really want to know, but I don't think he'd be able to manifest the actual quirks. For example, if he looked like Mineta he most likely wouldn't be able to pull the balls off of his head let alone regrow them. Also, can he fully manifest his body? If no, then obviously he wouldn't be able to fully shape shift into anybody so any quirk outside of the area he can manifest from is out of the question.

Firstly, to the momo thing, considering that she’s been shown to make what is presumably steel for her cannons (since iron is heavier she’d likely want to incorporate a lighter component to reduce strain), that confirms, yes she’d be able to make food, and also control temperature. Secondly, any trap quirk is likely really inconvenient but I’d have to say Sero over Mineta. Mineta’s been shown to not be affected by his adhesive orbs, while Sero has no such luck with his tape. Additionally, Sero’s traps cover wider areas of the battlefield, even mid-air parts of it, so Sero has to be mindful of where he’s trapped, otherwise his mobility-based fighting style is heavily hindered.

Overhaul is a good example of what happens when you lose the part connected to your quirk. He still has overhaul(the quirk) so if someone had a quirk that could regenerated someone's limbs hed be able to use overhaul again otherwise he wouldnt, but hed still have th quirk.

1:35 Aizawa talked about it at the sports festival. He was very opposed to accepting students into the U.A in this way, but Shinso also had other opportunities to get into the heroes course. For example, a sports festival. In addition, in the manga, teachers put him through another test to officially decide whether or not he will take the course. There are many theories when it comes to The Invisible Girl. Apparently the robots had a switch. Or she walked up behind them and ripped off the cables ... somehow it worked.

The way her quirk works, is she presses her fingers together, which activates the zero gravity. She then puts all her fingers from one hand on an oject and it floats. If she presses her fingers together again, it deactivates her quirk which causes the object to fall. Gone all muttering-deku on y'all lol

I have an, kind of, answer for hagakure's quirk, her quirk doesn't let light go through her, if it did we could see the food in her stomach, what it really does is bend light around her so it is possible that it's only present on the outside part of her body(reffering to what one could realistically see if she was healthy, inside of the mouth and the like included)

DerpyAF Overhaul had a quirk that literally was too powerful for its own good. A quirk like that would be one that All For One would love to have, but he wouldn’t be powerful enough to take it from him. That’s why when Reptar says “meats back on the menu” he means that now that Overhaul has lost his hands and thus lost his ability to use his quirk, All For One can now take if fairly easily.

Two things: I think the “What happens if you lose an appendage that your quirk uses?” question was answered because I think (I’ve just heard this) Shiguraki lost three of his fingers later in the story, ~season 5-ish, and his quirk adapted so only the remaining fingers all needed to touch to begin the decaying. Quirks can have specific requirements to work Like uraraka's fingertips It could be possible to alter your quirk if trouble arises but not all of a sudden, deku was able to alter his quirk but he needed time and practice You would need some form of rehab to be able to use it again but it is possible you'll lose the ability to use it forever like iida's brother ingenium being paralyzed

The reason Shinso didn't get a spot in the hero course was specifically stated, by Aizawa, that it's because the entrance exam was flawed. That's why Aizawa worked so hard to make it possible for Shinso to transfer to the hero course.
