The Gaming Side Venture is something that even the CS Professional Scene has evaluated. The Story how Astralis hired a Mental Coach and Therapist to help with the players cope with hardships not only in tournaments but also away from gaming was a huge deal when they made it public. Not all teams in CS have done that but a lot of teams not only in CS but across different games at all levels of play/skill have invested in some sort of Therapy/Mental Health avenues for the players and members of their organization to take advantage of. Glad to see this topic being brought up because its never been brought up a lot and it helps to know what to look for to help keep a positive or healthy state of mental health, as much as you can process.

Fun fact: Revolvers are actually used in Special Operations today. The French Police Special Forces group GIGN(which has one of the highest mission success rates in the world) has this revolver called the "Manurhin MR 73" that basically all their units carry. They have normal weapon loadouts, but in the event those guns fail for whatever reason, they have the revolver as a back-up because it is extremely reliable and they know will always put a hole in a terrorist.

I agree with your gaming rant. I think there needs to be a clear divide between the Competitive and Casual side of every game. People who join casual cues to play hyper sweaty and get mad at shit teammates are not only ruining the game for themselves, but also the people they're playing with. (edit) Also heard a story about somebody who took a sharpie and marked the exact middle of their monitor so they always had a reticule in shooters.

Not just getting mad at people who aren't sweaty in casual. But a ton of sweats just go into casual to boost their tiny ego. They can't hack it in ranked so they crush people trying to relax. Siege is full of them especially after the screwed up ranked with the 2.0 update. I'm pretty sure* 7/10 of my matches in Siege have a bunch of shitters on my team playing like bots and myself who's at least sentient, and a bunch of mega sweats who are trying to hard some of them are breaking the physics of the game with weird mantle locations that not even people in ranked who aren't ultra sweaty would know. And then they talk shit like they're so good meanwhile I'm drunk or high and my teammates are bots. It's pretty funny but even sadder. Oh and cheaters who do the same but with cheats on top. I'm pretty sure I personally got 30 people banned in a 2 week period from reports. Even when it just looked like they got lucky or had "a good gaming chair". My reports would more often than not end with a ban in a day or two. As for the sharpie thing most gaming monitors nowadays have a cross hair feature already built into the menu. It is undetectable cause it happens in the monitor software.

I think one of the funnest ways (and most effective in my warped experience) to play siege is the exact opposite way they want you to. No pieing corners slowly creeping along and aiming for half a pixel of someone's foot. Nah, fom the second i spawn a sprint towards OB like a cracked out cheetah, breaking down all the walls and windows i can between me and it, and firing off a a fist full of 12 gauge shells at anything that moves. So many times it'll be 15 seconds into the round, im dead but i took 3 of the enemy team with me and now there's a path straight to them from the outside. I'm also pissing myself with laughter as the enemy team quakes having just been jump scared by scotsman with a huge hammer and a live grenade in his hand.

I love playing against players with the same skill cause it's fun it's 50 50 wins but lately cods matchmaking puts casual players up against the best players which is unfair or there are hackers who never get banned. Hackers are on the rise in MW3 and I faced 3 out of 10 games today in TDM alone

The gun is fine, it's just that .50 Action Express is kinda pointless. It's a massive round that really only exists for the memes, like .50 Beowulf. Chamber a DEagle in .44 or .357 Mag and you have a pretty reliable (and pretty) handgun.

It's supposably a all windows thing. but other than a handful of times I remember it happening to me when I was on Vista and 7 for over a decade now I haven't had a Source game crash on me when I alt-tabbed it. occasionally it will stop responding for a couple minutes but if I leave the computer to do something it's always working again when I come back, hell I tab out all the time when joining servers

This means the games need to be hard. This means that I need to try. The games I’m getting emotionally tortured in are the games I’m having the most fun. Darkest dungeon? Oh my god it is one of the most stressful and frustrating experiences you will ever find, but it is perfect for me. I love it. Of course, there’s games like Minecraft where I get to be creative with friends, but that’s mostly just with friends. I prefer challenge.

I think the idea that you have to have fun when you play games isnt really true, and neither is the idea that you cant get mad at something unless you're making money off it There's plenty of instances where you have to do something unfun to get what you want, and there's plenty of instances where you just aren't having fun. Doesn't mean you're having a bad time, it just means it's kinda neutral. And some of us, especially in competitive games, get most of our fun from winning, so yea, its understandable to get frustrated when you get matched with people who deny you that fun because they're trash or are using a broken loadout. Obviously i think fun should be the priority, but you doing need to be having fun to enjoy your gaming
