I will pursue Globalist status again in 2025. The benefits extend beyond free breakfast. I frequently enjoy room upgrades and strongly value the waived resort fees and free parking when booking with points. The award chart is valuable as it allows me to plan and maximize my points. While Globalist status might not be worthwhile for those primarily staying at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House, it offers significant value for those who frequent nicer brands in locations with overnight parking and/or resort fees.

No, I’ve been Globalist for the last 4 years and manufactured elite nights thru spend and booking the local Hyatt place for 3.5k per night. Worse, sometimes I selected Hyatt’s that were not in ideal locations due to loyalty. I want to give Chase Edit and Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts shot for a few stays this year to try it out.

The Radio City Christmas show uses fairy drones as part of the performance. The drones regularly fall on to people. So much so that they make an announcement about it before the show and say that the drones are fragile so that people will gently handle them if one falls on them. During the performance one did fall and land on someone when I was there last year.
