You need your spend to ramp. This is a combo of indigon %, attack speed, and gem/level multipliers. I target 3-3.3 aps with a 2:1 Shot ratio on the 4 link and maybe 6:1 on the 6 link. 60% indigon to start

Someone in the manastacking discord made this guide as a rough baseline. What I think is a decent estimation: In PoB's Config: Have your # of Mana spent Recently as 0, but check 'Arcane Cloak: Include in Mana Spent Recently' (top of the middle column). Manually add up the 'Mana Cost per second' of RoA, Conduit, Frenzy, Blast Rain (you have to manually swap to each skill one by one to get this value). For mine I get 1958. Put that number as Mana spent Recently, you're now "1 second into ramping" Keep your number and on top of it add the new mana Mana Cost per second per second of all your skills. This your new # Mana spent recently, you're now 2 seconds into Ramping. Do it until you're 4s second into Ramping, disable the 'Include Cloak' and look at the mana cost of your spender (RoA). If this number is bigger than it was at Mana Cloak enabled 0s ramping then congratulation you have positive feedback loop! (yes you won't actually trigger Conduit every second but it's an estimation). If you're not there yet try the links RoA - Faster Attacks - GMP - Light Pen - Elem w/ Atk - Conc Effect and to increase your attack speed in general. Otherwise get a 60% Indigon, it makes a lot of difference

Heya! Used the combined versions of your mana builds of the past to play this league, had to test and try things myself, but overall very happy with the build. Adding mageblood and squire made it possible to clear T17 (although the experience wasn't as easy without some of the stuff you had), but even with like 250-300 div of total investment it was a great build which made me enjoy going for 40/40. Comfortably killing anything other than ele reflect on t16 maps, doing rolled, but still variable t1 maps, doing ubers and basically wiping out anything that is not an uber or t17 boss was fun. Thanks for the build, even though I often prefer being held by the hand and guided more, I still had tons of fun, and I gained a lot of PoE experience. Thank you!

Since doing 15 "empowered" t17s is by far the harders part of doing 40/40 I thought it would be wise to do those after I've done everything else / after I get mageblood and squire. Just went and dug around pob, you don't really need to spend 200 div on bow, quiv and adorned to get good power on this build. Switched bow for 1.67 as 1500 edps bow. And changed quiv to one with att speed implicit, chaos res, mana, dex+int and +1 arrow. The bow will cost you 3-7 div from 1400-1500 while the quiv 1-5 div depending on the other mods. And also changed adorned to 96% (1div). Dps ended up being 417 mil on 1 cycle of max mana instead of 406 mil on original pob. Es dropped from 19k to 17.3k. You will need to fix chaos res by getting more ele res on jewels and changing for a chaos res implict + chaos res ring (for the second ring). But altogether this is a pretty low entry point and substantially lower than crafting a perfect 50 div corpse crafted quiv due to the insanely cheap ele bows on market. If you truly want high dps budget mapping shenanigans you can also drop both rings and go down to 350 mil dps and then use 2 hungry loops to get another 6l equiv mana forged arrows on la and blastrain (2x 5l = 1 6l). Build will drop to 15k es and you will have to do some shit to fix res (probably get mageblood, yeah I know, very good "budget" plan) but your upfront dmg and clear will be very healthy.

Super excited for the conversion to MFA. Been waiting for the update video for what feels like forever 😂 That said, I dont know how you calculated an EV of 1.6 usable fractured quivers from that graveyard craft. At best its 0.6. Each bow is only a ~25% chance to hit, since it needs to roll the ~50% weight lightning prefix and ~50% weight crit multi suffix. I copied your setup to the letter and it took me 12 quivers to get one. Mega unlucky

Just as a little warning: It's NOT guaranteed to roll Lightning Damage with the mentioned corpses. You can easily roll fire or cold damage and increased bow damage as well. You know why? I've got 4 quivers and only one rolled lightning damage.

2:10 Current understanding is that "increased chance of X modifier" and "scarcer X modifiers" are multiplicative with each other. E.g. with 1000% increased chance of lightning modifiers and 3000% scarcer resistance modifiers, the lightning resistance mod has its weight multiplied by 11/31. That's how poedb and craftofexile behave. I don't know the current trade prices since I'm SSF (kinda, private league) but I would personally just go 300% scarcer phys/fire/cold/life/mana/speed, 900% scarcer res, 2000~4000% inc lightning, 1000~2000% crit, 200% fracture chance, 800 tier rating, no extra copy. That's about 21~30% chance to hit compared to the 27%+2 copies of the video. Those are all common crafts in relatively small numbers (except tier rating) that probably shouldn't be expensive enough to warrant the extra copy chance (again SSF here, ymmv): just repeat the craft, perhaps using the presumably less valuable chance to not consume corpses if you have any on hand.

They are only multiplicative if the modifier is different, having both Increased and Reduced be Fire, for example, is additive which I guess makes sense.

Just used this myself with a version of the grave I made for those mods, managed to pull 7 total quivers, 5 of which were the perfect fractures! definitely lucky, but I dont think the odds are as bad as some are saying

Hi, is there a reason to do Crit Multi? As you would most likely still play with EO until you get Forbidden jewels for the crit chance? Or is it just a good steppingstone for later when you get the crit chance but are not near the better quiver?

if you have EO then don't roll crit multi... simple as that. When you switch to crit, switch to crit multi.

I started my MFA a couple of days ago and I think it's EXTREMELY FUN I can't sustain the loop every time. I'm sure I'm missing something. When my flasks are down i have 2.43 attack rate, and i get to 3 aps with all the flasks (this is when the crazy damage begins). Any tips besides flasks to push the aps up? Probably doing this quiver here would do it ^_^ (and I'd have to fix all my res issues because i'm using +1 poised prison. But it's ok :) ) I'm saving for a mageblood, but sloooooooooooooooowly (i'm in 50d saved) ==> because permanent silver flask with 95% increased effect? yes please! Whatever i do, i'm still having A LOT OF FUN with this build. More than ever Also, another question: why in some PoBs we see a second RoA of saturation and in some other PoBs a blast rain? what's the difference? Thank you sr! you're awesome

it's more for the storm rain of the conduit to get to 10 arrows on the floor faster, the bow makes that +1 arrow actually +3 arrows

The budget version pretty much is the mjölner setup. For example: I leveled with Blade Vortex + unleash + archmage, Arcane cloak, Arcane surge and sigil of power were my damage, Blade vortex is just nice because you don't need to spam away all your mana. Little by little work up to Ivory tower, Mjölner and Shapers Touch and figure out a way to get your Str and Int up high enough (Three rats talisman, Eyes or the great wolf, etc) and do like a Lightning conduit of the heavens + Lightning Pen + Archmage in the mjölner and some kinda cast on channel setup that can shock on the ivory tower. I used cyclone + cast while channeling + lightning warp + culling strike + less duration. A 4-link is enough but the culling strike is a nice option as we're not doing billions of damage yet. Sigil of power and Arcane cloak are still the most important buffs so prioritise their uptime And if you don't like the jarring nature of automated Lightning warp you can just do any other lighning skill in the cast while channeling setup, Lightning Ccnduit of the heavens doesn't need the shock but it's nice because we're using elemental overload for a very long time. Resistances will be kinda hard at first because you want str int and mana and a healthy amount of dex too but the mjölnir setup can work quite early. I started that in like lvl 73-75 even though I didn't have my ES leech sorted out yet. I'm still in the Mjölner phase. Next I'm gonna figure out how Indigon works, get my self some more levels and start grabbing those sweet mana + attributes jewels and at least one cluster jewel. TL;DR I don't really know if there is a way to mage a very budget friendly Manaforged arrow like this because it is a stat stacking build and those tend to get expensive but at least there's a clear progression of kinda cheaper "stepping stone" builds you can do that kinda feed into the Manaforged Arrows End game setup. Start with Archmage stuff, grow up to be and indigon character, farm up a storm and switch to manaforged. I hope this helps even a little

Not being a jerk but get to T16s and throw scarabs into the device and go. A good loot filter for only perfectly rolled 83+ bases and worth while currency and just hit them hard. You can also try rolling cluster jewels. I made about 20div doing that but got bored fast.

One thing not shown in the vid(and probobly not used as far as I see): there's a corpse that allows you reroll modifier values 6 times keeping the best outcome. You kinda want it especially when you craft fractured base

Unfortunately fractures are calculated pre-reroll corpse, so if you're specifically crafting for fractures, there's no point in fitting in reroll corpses.
