Aint assuming you speak spanish or that you are latino, but damn, ain't nothing more strong than the latino nostalgia genre for me. Low key most of the identity we have in Mexico for example, is derived from a lot of images and ideals set by Mexicans abroad. This film just speaks about it a lot for me. Incredible grading, hope you okay and still cooking some bangers like this one

Which is so interesting, considering all the footage was taken from New York. As a Portuguese person, even I felt a sense of familiarity and comfort in the filmmaking sensibilities. Spain, Mexico, Italy, Argentina, Brasil, Portugal... our cultures are unique, but there's this feeling of overlap between them.

@@gerardobecerril4789 ya tiene rato que escribí ese comentario y puedo ver que las palabras que escogí no son las mas indicadas para transmitir la idea en mente. También debo aclarar que como norteño puede que tenga una experiencia muy distinta y probablemente generalicé, pero voy a usar el ejemplo de un area que conozco y ejerzo, la música. Actualmente dos de los artistas mas tendencia de México son Peso Pluma y Grupo Frontera, ambos tocan generos que claramente son originarios de la cultura mexicana (si no miras muy hacia atras; pues la música norteña y el texano realmente son derivados de la polka traida por inmigrantes alemanes y polacos), sin embargo, ambos de sus subgeneros mas característicos son dervidados de la experiencia de exportar estos generos a estados unidos y su viaje de regreso. Los corridos llevan mucho tiempo existiendo acá, pero los corridos tumbados son derivados de la incorporación de características extranjeras, como el bajo eléctrico con slap y armonía de jazz que de los primeros que vi que la usaron fueron T3rcer Elemento (grupo de mexicanos y cubanos nacidos en o que radican en EEUU y son exponentes de los corridos alterados) o en el caso de Grupo Frontera, donde la mayoría son de McAllen y en la primera alineación había varios integrantes no-latinos, que tocan texano, derivado del norteño influenciado por musicos latinos que emigraron a EEUU y mezclan la polka mexicanizada con el country y otros géneros gringos, como su exponente mas fuerte Selena. Espero explicarme bien con este ejemplo, para concluirlo me refiero a la fuerza y solidez con la regresan potenciadas las imágenes de Mexicanidad que viven en nuestro nuevo día día. Claramente quienes comiezan a transmitirlo son mexicanos, pero el exito masivo e internacional (que a su vez forma una imagen de la cultura mexicana ante el mundo e internamente en nuestro país) tiene mucho de la experiencia de vivir fuera del país metido entré sus mas profundos confines Estoy dispuesto a discutir esto por otro medio, aquí ta muy incomodo en comentarios, me gustaría saber que piensas, saludos hermano
