Great quiz as usual. Gotta be careful with the Odd One Out round as there were a couple where multiple answers were correct. Snowy owls can fly while the rest can't, Game of Thrones is the only one that's a series while the others are all films, and Chelsea is the only one not named after its city/town. I know it feels awful pedantic, but just something we noticed. Looking forward to the next one :)

I was also thinking that for the capital cities question in that round that the odd one out was Manila because the others are the capitals of predominantly Islamic countries while the Philippines is a mostly Catholic country

Great quiz, Dale! 58 out of 65 for team Ynot Htac Mom? this week. We fell apart a bit at the beginning. Absolute full marks on the film round (Tony still isn't over Iron Man's death). sorry to say i had a stinker this week, only scored 35. got a pretty poor 5 out of 10 on round 1. a solid 6 on entertainment where i learnt B*witched are an Irish band (i knew the answer just not that they were Irish). Movies went as poorly as expected, 8 out of 20 which to be fair was still about double what i ought to have got, some lucky guesses and the question about wilson giving away that film 4 was castaway. a very nice 4 out of 5 on the connections round, i didnt know the name of the shooter (i feel its worth mentioning ive never watched south park either). a reasonable 7 on odd one out where i learnt that bombay duck is not in fact duck (i put gravlax because i thought bombay duck was, well, duck and knew coq au vin was chicken and gravlax was fish, salmon i think). ended poorly too by my standards, only 5 on general knowledge. as for my excuse this week, well despite playing at a reasonable time AND sober for the first time in quite a while i am still only running on around 4 hours of sleep at most after waking up ridiculously early (no later than half past 5, understandably i refused to get out of bed to actually check the time, my alarm hadnt gone off and i could tell from how dark it was that i should still be asleep, that told me all i needed to know with regard to what time it was) for absolutely no reason DESPITE GETTING TO SLEEP THE EARLIEST IVE DONE IN MONTHS (still only around half 1, and id had a few drinks). to top it all off ive managed to lose my keys and my laptop died in the middle of me writing this comment. Hope your day's going better than mine. thanks for a great quiz to help me cope and hopefully i do better next week. oh and ill guess 6 wins for you for the tiebreaker (cos we all know my mighty score of 35 is getting on the leaderboard😂)
