5 pillars of islam: shahada - believing that non has the right to be worshipped except Allah sawm - fasting in the month of ramadhan salah - performing the 5 obligatory prayers hajj - annual pilgrimage to mecca for those who have the capacity ie. financially and physically & lastly ZAKAT - this one needs an explanation. Zakat is basically Alms giving (giving in charity) and it has some rules. For you to qualify t0 give zakat, you should have the minimum amount (nisab) Nisab is the minimum amount of wealth a Muslim must have-after calculating necessary expenses-to be eligible to contribute zakat. Nisab is equivalent to the current value of 3 ounces of gold. (apprx $4478) then you should have this amount for a period of 1yr without it decreasing, then you give 2.5% of this amount as zakat pillars of faith are 6 Believe in Allah Believe in Allah's angels Believe in the messengers of Allah Believe in the books Allah has revealed Believe in the existence of the last day - so you are sure that after death there will be judgement day And lastly believing in Qadr - Al-Qadr is the concept that Allah knows everything and has already decided everything that will happen. This is called predestination. in lay man terms, what was meant to hit you will not miss you and what was meant to miss you will not hit you. May Allah guide us all and forgive our sins and accept our good deeds. May Allah help those who are in difficulty and distress. May Allah answer our prayers. May Allah give all muslims good in this life and good in the hereafter, a good end and admit us to jannah AMIN

I want to shed some light on minute 13:39 , I really wonder what made the boy Liam say that the answer was "5"? Why did he appear so shocked when his mom gave the wrong answer and said "7"? The brother even asked him why he chose the number "5" to which Liam responded by saying "I don't know".. It's very strange. The probability of Liam giving the correct answer to that particular question was almost 1/impossible. May Allah guide him and his family to Islam.
