Well.... black people can't not have rhythm, it's a scientific impossibility. The way he looked so annoyed when Cartman was right about there being a random bass in their basement, and then started playing like a professional bass player from the jump was hilarious... like, "Son of a bitch....the fat racist was right, but I'm not going to acknowledge it."

Sad to think that kids actually were treated like that for downloading music. Full SWAT and kids being sued for literally millions of dollars. Fun fact: In real life, there is no such thing as a myrrh album, it was made up specifically for this episode. Christian and inspirational music albums that sell a million copies go platinum, just like secular music. Although Cartman’s reaction to the album was funny 😂😂😂😂

Kyle showing how he can act just like Cartman when he wants something. That first time of Cartman's song saying deep inside me is actually not bad unless you have a very dirty mind, because we would say the spirit of the lord would be inside us. Definitely agree Cartman isn't really so much racist, as he uses racist themes because he knows they react strongly. The extreme Jewish hate time, where he emulated hitler, he was greatly influenced by that Mel Gibson film.

Their hit songs, 'Touch me Jesus' and 'Jesus touched me' really resonated with me... and who can forget the song, 'I found Jesus (with someone else)' and 'Jesus (is kinda hot)'? Their debut album 'Faith+1' will go down as a classic that's full on bangers (literally)...

Limewire was huge back when this episode aired. I used to use it myself sometimes. Also it's funny how accurate this all is, during this time Lars Ulrich of Metallica was the first musician to really bring up the free music downloading problem with the company Napster, it was making it impossible for musicians to get paid for their work, and before you knew it there was hundreds and thousands of other digital downloading platforms that would forever change the music industry as a whole. Now days bands rely on touring and selling merchandise, and alot of times some of the venues even charge a merch selling fee up to like 30% making everything harder in terms of touring and finances and ultimately bands cant afford to tour anymore. Ohhhhhand btw, Judas Priest kicks fuckin' ass!!! 🤘🤘🤘

Downloading music certainly didn't hurt mega stars like Brittney Spears and Lars Ulrich of Metallica. But downloading music became a problem when people were uploading albums from lesser known artists and more people downloaded their albums than people who bought them. I'm definitely guilty of that, being that I was a young teen and had no income, but a relentless hunger for new music. Today I scout bandcamp and spotify, but I buy what I like now.
