The "donations" option you see at the grocery store are often used as tax write offs. Also, when donating to a charity, there are literally no laws or rules about how much of that donation actually goes to the charity. So please do your research into which charities you donate to and don't feel pressured into donating.

In my opinion, the idea of having someone weed your social media for negative comments isn't that bad. I see this often with celebrities and popular influencers where people are just either being recreationally angry or hating. Sometimes blocking those people is completely fine as it keeps your feed cleaner and just lets you relax more.
