Thank you for sharing that moment with us Quizzy. My grandfather-in-law suffered from dementia and it was hard to see. He was a really intelligent man who just stopped being able to remember his family.

Shit that sounds a lot like what my great grandmother went through, her husband (my great grandfather) was a soldier and died to a brain tumor, she ended up getting dementia, everyday she asked where he was and we told her that he was dead, she would go to his grave and cry all day so we had to start lying to her that he was at work. A few months later she almost spent all her money on some fake jewelry as gifts, but luckily my father was able to stop her

Quizzy, there's a music piece called "Everywhere At The End Of Time" by someone called The Caretaker. It shows what it's like for someone to go through the different stages of Dementia. It's.......got a way of messing with your head especially if you manage to listen to the entire 6 hours of it in one go. But if you manage to do it once you will definitively have a clearer perspective of that horrible disease.

I know I'm gonna lose her one day, that's normal for everybody but I can love with that as long as I wouldn't have to go through this shit. This episode shows that Matt and Trey are not only hilarious, they can also do some real emotional stuff, as well. The Helen Keller Musical episode, before they had it as a Thanksgiving episode, the disabled turkey Timmy finds was a disabled dog, but they saw it was just too fucking sad for it to be a disabled dog, and then there was that episode when they planned to kill Kenny off permanently, that episode hardly had any funny moments, it definitely had jokes, but there were very few jokes in the episode

Nah with GameStop, once I won an Xbox in a competition. But I didn't realize till I opened it that I had the same type. So I brought it to GameStop to exchange for it's money. They said they would only give me 100 since it's been opened. I didn't take anything else out and the Xbox hasn't been powered on ONCE in it's life. Bro the box was still intact. You could put in on the shelf after retaping it and call it a day but noooo, I gotta say it's somehow old and dusty and you can't even give me back HALF the price.

My aunt's mother is in her 90s. She has her good days and bad days, but the latter have taught me how dementia can be so evil. There are days she'll remember me or her son-in-law, who she's only known for 15-20 years, but not her own 60YO daughter. The worst part is the distress, when she knows she should know but her own mind betrays her. It is horrible to love someone and be utterly powerless to help them. To anybody that would try to take advantage of that, well, Stan said nothing wrong.

13:23 I feel this scene so much not to trauma dump but my PopPop passed away May of last year he had Alzheimer’s real bad rotting in a nursing home (due to his bitch wife)(not my grandma) to the point didn’t remember his daughter’s name that broke our hearts so much honestly when he passed in his sleep he looked so peaceful with a smile on his face he had a heart attack in his sleep To anyone going through anything like this with a family member the only advice I can give you is to be with them for as long as you can

My grandfather on my moms side passed in 2005, he was 65, the thing is he wasnt suffering from dimentia, or anything like that, and he was a really hard worker, even when he retired, he wouldnt stop working to rest, his last job was working on a farm, and he realized he was getting out of breath, went to hospital, they saw he had an enlarged heart, so they operated on him, and after his operation, they saw he was recovering great, they were taking machines off of him, and all of a sudden, he died of a heart attack. That was the first time i experienced a loss of someone who was lise to me, my dad was a deadbeat, so he was the closest person i had as a father, and last week, i actually heard that my grandfather on my dads side had died. I dont really know much of anything about my dads side of the family, so i really know nothing about my grandfather
