I'm leaving this comment 6 years after discovering this channel through this album, because I'm beginning to identify trances I enter while listening to it. During certain sections of the song, I can so clearly feel emotions flowing into my ears through my headphones, and they kinda... play out. I'll stare off and ponder the vast unknown during certain sections of Kremnay and then when the violin comes in, I can so clearly, so, so clearly feel some flash of white energy, like a surge of inspiration and determination, then when the guitar comes in, it solidifies it with some sort of anger, and then I can see the vision of some sort of climax of this "level." This album is not a hypothetical soundtrack for a game. This album is recreating something. In just the intensity and flow of the music, how it just changes whenever the hell it wants, like in At The Public House, or calms the melody, soothes itself, maybe to tell a bigger story. This album... is a story. The album itself is a game. Maybe it's retelling an experience Qumu had with a game, or a real experience Qumu had. But it's fucking beautiful that I can feel an actual story rolling off the notes as they bounce around in seperate pathways, it drives me insane how good it is at telling a story. There are no lyrics. No voices. Just an artist or two with a keyboard going nuts and making something with an intense deep and raw meaning. The best part? Qumu never even once discusses meaning in their originals. It's all up to the viewer to piece together. But this album does it in such a special way, that you (or at least, I) can properly visualize a game or story being told with intense pacing. I could keep writing this forever, so I'm just gonna say that this way of telling a story by having the viewer visualize by using notes as words is amazing. Love ya, Qumu. Keep making great stuff, and keep being great, because it's what you're great at.

I know this is kind of weird but I allowed myself to think the audio glitch at 5:19 was actually a part of the song. I know the glitch wasn't intended but I view it not as a mistake but part of the masterpiece that is Swings and Roundabouts. I'm both glad and slightly disappointed the error was patched up.
