Would you suggest using different price books per currency? For eg. AMER region price book would be in USD? Euro region price book in Euro?

A good use for Different price books would be for the same currency but different prices such as a usd price book for gold partners and a different usd price book for silver partners. Price books can have many currencies in one book so you could add gold partner euro pricing or India pricing for the gold partner price book too.
