The warning is don’t take any other book as your guide alongside the Quran. The Quran was revealed fully explained in detail. The compass to guidance that you are to follow is found only in the Quran. 6:38 nothing was left out of the Quran 6:114. Will you take another for judge than ALLah? When He sent you the Book explained in full detail. If we dont verify what we do from the Quran , then no authority was sent down from ALLah for it. For example, the Ibraheemiyat, that we recite in our prayer. Not found in the Quran. Therefore ALLah did Not send down any authority for it. It is actually considered invoking others besides Him in the Salah meant solely for ALLah. Proof is in 20:14. And Sura Kahf for one. Salah
