When you stay awake and pray that’s Qiyamul Layl or night prayer. When you wake up from your sleep an hour or earlier before Fajar that’s Tahajjud. So there’s the difference.

Assalaamualaikum wa Rahmatulaahi wa Barakaatuh, there is a difference between qiyamul layl and Tahajjud. The difference is Qiyamul layl is when you pray nafl after your Esha salaah and Tahajjud is when you pray Esha, sleep, then wake up and pray. May Allaah protect us. Ameen.

@namukasa jalium I think the best time to make dua is during the tahajud prayer while you are in sajdah. Sajdah is a recommended point to make dua in generally.

You can offer as many rakat for tahajjud as you like there's no limit Minimum is 2 rakat :) And after every 2 rakat you perform you have to make tasleem

"tonight is the first night of the last 10 nights of Ramadan!" How do you know? Where is the additional important word of "Insha-Allah?" A strong believer must never miss to mention this important word whenever he / she is going to talks about the happening of something.

Ali Umar there are two ways of calculating the nights of ramadhaan. Some people calculate it from the beginning of the month Other people (and myself) calculate it backwards from Eid - this is a complete gamble so I am not sure if it’s the last ten or not. Be gentle bro

You need to be super careful how you interpret your version of Qur’an. The Ayah 79 has the reward exclusively for Rasool Allah SAW. Not for everyone who offers Tahajjud.
