The benefits on prayer it keeps me calm and a reminding of who I am . Learn to appreciate thing I can do such as seeing, hearing and speaking. Grateful for all things and appreciation, realizing that there are other situations that are worse than mine. Thankfulness. And helps me be countable on things I do in my choices , I have made now that I 🤲🏾. Then we I didn’t pray 🤲🏾, I feel more complete and fulfilled in my life now with praying 5x . Motivation 🤲🏾❤️

Good explanation Ma Shaa Allah. Let me add one more point to it. The spirit of all acts of worship is to develop taqwah. As Allah says, prayer keeps you away from sin and vulgar. So prayer is in fact a tool to develop Taqwah, which is mandatory for seeking Allah's pleasure

Prayer is decency: Prayer is what you believe in! What you want to be,and live! Prayer is What you wish for! Prayer is what is included in your prayer! If you wish forgiveness, you must also forgive anyone around you, for your prayer to be acceptable by the one who have the power of forgiveness ( God himself) If you wish to be forgiven, forgive! If you wish to receive peace,,wish and give peace to others first! If you wish to feel or be loved, love others first.. If you wish to have ennemi, hold onto the ennemity! If you wish to receive hate, poor it in the air around you, it will be coming back to the sender ( you) If you wish hell for yourself, wish hell to others.. If you wish love for yourself, wish and pray for love for others.. For, whatever you pray for or against others, you will receive it back as your reward! Prayer is decency… Whatever you sow for or against others, you will also recolt back .. like a plantation owner! It seems there are cultural (human declared) regulations on prayer. This can actually interfere with personal and deep relationship with Allah for some persons.

If a person needs to ask the purpose of prayer, I doubt sincerely that they will understand the answer. Humans are notorious for seeking after a pay-off, reward or advantage for investing time and energy. But lets make this simple. The next time you selflessly extend yourself to recognize a relationship that is greater than yourself, ask yourself why you did that. Again..if you have to ask the question, you will not understand the answer.

Quran confirms itself and that's the reason for me of having a contended soul, it is not just prayer. Proof (my own interpretation}: Quran Chp 6 Verse 92: And this is a Book We have revealed consecrating itself, evidencing itself everything out here in between its two hands [as blessed and firm, respectively] so that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Mecca, the Mother of all civilizations in the globe] and those [other civilizations that span] around it [with fervor and certainty]. Those who believe in the Hereafter [as per Quran] believe in it [Mecca to be the centre of Pangaea], and they are maintaining their prayers [spiritual connections with its first inhabitants: Eve and Adam (AS)].

That's why before you have a child you must ensure they serve God. The word worship is not a good translation, its to (serve) him so he becomes your king in the afterlife
