Accha tha, lekin it's not enough. Shreya actually commented really well. When you are humming like that when are about to touch those notes, you are doing that bcz you cannot reach those notes freely. Specially I've seen that with both of them that they go high, but when they need to come down to a lower note quick, they use humming, use their nostril to sing. That's not a mark of good singer unfortunately. When you listen to both of those song originally, there is no such humming. You have to play with those high and low notes with clean precision. These type of humming is good for cover songs or to sing with friends etc. Not suitable for playback singers. You may say, they were improvising with those humming. But that's not how improvisation works. The notes may land differently, but still the notes need to be clear. There wasn't anything like that. People are liking Suja's voice, style of singing. But you will never ever see him singing as a playback singer if he sings like that. That's just the harsh truth. Shreya and Vishal mostly, didn’t give that much banter. I'm sure, Sonu Nigham would've said much more harsh things. There are instances where Sonu criticized such style of singing, you can see other shows where he judged or idol's old seasons. And saying that winner is set or etc, it's actually demeaning to other really good singers. Like Shubhajt, what a clean voice. People like him deserves to be in top 15. Yes Indian Idol is criticized and it's voting system is questionable, but the judge, especially Shreya and Vishal I think respect the singing and talent, if they are talented.
