Know this is an ancient comment but for anyone lurking the answer is: Many of the prime QVC episodes were shot live very late at night, going past midnight hours. Thus the name: late night infomercial. So that's why many of the hosts were tired, worn out, and confused about what the current day was as they worked the night shift with work days that straddled two different days.
