I started listening to them from the beginning but knowing their back story definitely makes me appreciate more. A drummer streamer, although majored in music, who was too nervous to perform on stage. A streamer who just started to learn bass. A well-known tiktoker who was afraid to show herself (she learned piano but not guitar). And finally an idol trainee who failed to debut in Korea but persevered to join Japanese idol group. This album definitely gives me a group vibe than before and it gives me hope for the future comebacks.

In the context of the Korean band Qwer, the song "Ferris Wheel" seems to be about the emotional turbulence and uncertainty of relationships, with the Ferris wheel acting as a metaphor for the cyclical nature of emotions. Meaning: The Ferris wheel in the song is a symbol of the ups and downs of life, especially in romantic relationships. Just as a Ferris wheel goes up and down, the emotions experienced in a relationship can also fluctuate - from happiness and excitement to confusion or sadness. The song explores the feeling of being stuck in a cycle, unsure of where things will go or how things will end. The lyrics touch on the feeling of longing and the bittersweetness of the "ride" - both the thrill of being in love and the painful awareness that it may not last. The cyclical nature of the Ferris wheel could also reflect how emotions in a relationship can repeat, making it hard to break free from certain patterns. Key Themes: Cyclical Nature of Emotions: The Ferris wheel symbolizes how emotions rise and fall in a constant, repeating pattern. Uncertainty in Relationships: The song may explore the uncertainty of a relationship, with the feeling that you're unsure whether you're heading upward or downward emotionally. Nostalgia and Longing: There could also be a sense of nostalgia or longing for a time when things felt better, but knowing that everything is in constant motion.

Late to this but I appreciate anyone who has gotten to know QWER, they're pretty cool as a band to start with and obviously they got their talent and charm... not known enough I feel like but hopefully it'll change in the future, definitely one of my favorite discoveries, and one of the few groups that I've known since early in their existence.
