qwertyphone test

Testing a "BT Merlin qwertyphone" - this test was done over the pstn, so the number has been obscured (hence the gap in audio during dialling)
You can see from the garbled message that there is something not quite right with the settings, but without a manual or any information about it, it's not easy to work out what's wrong.
I can receive messages on this quertyphone (you can see I have 2 in the in-box) but can't send yet.
This video is mostly so that the person at the other end can see what results I'm getting.

I had one of these around 1987. Didn't use the fax messaging facility but as a phone it was great fun.
