P-311. Portable Soviet tube military HF receiver .
Developed in the early 1950s.
Intended for range 1 to 15 MHz in five scales.
Receives AM, CW and R/T.. SSB is possible with the BFO.
It is powered by a heavy duty Ni-Cad accumulator that supplied 2,4 v to VP-3M2 internal power supply with mechanical vibrator, for mobile or back-pack use.
It mounts 8 equal tubes 2Ж27Л (2J27L / 2ZH27L).
Was used like a intelligence division radio, in army, in tanks, in ships, like army headquarter monitoring receiver for receiving routine radiogram, weather forecast, like
military training receiver, etc.
Power supply that is seen in the video, is a BC-2.5M for receivers P-323 and P-326. It is adapted to work with the VP-3M2 internal power supply from P-311.
