I love these but can no longer listen because of the ads at the end. I am randomly woken up at 2 am by a blaring obnoxious ad every time I listen, so I can’t anymore.

Get KZbin Premium. You will never hear an ad. Worth every cent. Thomas cannot do anything about the ads. They are put in by KZbin. It's a business . It's how they make money. Stop expecting something for nothing.

So sorry to hear that. Unfortunately after the last KZbin monetisation update, we can no longer control the ad that appears at the end. Some listeners said that turning off autoplay can solve the problem.

To me it's worth paying a premium so I don't get ads and I can download the material. I didn't know if it still exist or works but there used to be a website you could download YT video for free. It's been years since I've used it, hopefully it's still a thing worth checking out.

If you have an iPhone, you can set a timer to stop playing after a few hours, before the end of the story. (Android might have this feature as well)

These are all also available via podcast aps as well. Spotify, Pocket Casts, Apple Podcasts, Castro, Podcast Addicts and several others. Sleep stories are the only things I listen to via podcast, but so worth it. Hope that helps. 🙂
