If the Starbucks ONLY has that type of chair, then it's a-hole design. Not everyone can sit on stools/chairs without proper backs, especially those who NEED back support when they sit down. (My cousin is one of those individuals. He can sit, but he needs chairs with backs on them.) This just reminds me of those types of hostile homeless architecture that makes it harder on not only homeless individuals, but also disabled individuals.

Yup, the benches with the spikes or the mid section with arm rests. In general it's just uncomfortable. Those who don't have a choice, like homeless people are just going to suffer more in a society that actively invests in measures to make their homeless existence actively worse. A local council bought homeless people a one-way train ticket to another borough. That borough's council then buys that homeless person a one way train ticket back. And repeat until you're playing tennis with homeless people as the ball.

My local Starbucks removed the table and comfy armchairs they had, so yeah I thin its asshole design Plus these kinds of stools make your back hurt, by tensing up your upper back muscles, I made a presentation on them during ergonomics class in architecture college. I hate them with a passion, we had them at the scale model room, it was better to stand around them sit in them for long hours.

Personally, if I own a business I would want to help these people... It's just disgusting to push they away like there nothing. Alot of them are capable of getting jobs, and living right, but most companies won't hire them just because there homeless, it's this endless cycle where the people in power are just to greedy to help anyone who needs help, so instead of giving a person a free meal, they tell there employees to "throw out" non paying customers, and if they don't listen, they can get fired.. all the "anti homeless" is just city's, and business being paranoid about loosing customers, so they put up stupid spikes and separate benches, which doesn't solve a problem, it just makes it worse because now instead of these people sleeping on benches, they are ether forced to sleep on the ground, or be a criminal.. if they simply just left the benches open, and had no spikes, these people wouldn't need to steal just to live.. if businesses hired people who are homeless, then the crime rate will drop and they will be more profitable in the long run.

Where I live (San Antonio, texas), there are at least 3 different types of "homeless". 1. Truly homeless(if you offer food, they will enjoy it) 2. Drug addicts/alcoholics(money only for their "fix") 3. Panhandlers(scum of the damn earth and all are total liars who mooch off of society like a parasite). Heard of a 4th type, the "transplanted homeless", I don't know how true it is, but a rumor that the homeless in states like new York and California are actually sending their homeless on taxpayer's money via a greyhound bus to other states in an effort to make their states "look better". I see it as using people down on their luck or suffering addiction as literal weapons against other states. Los Angeles had black plague, typhus, cholera and other dangerous diseases in their homeless population.

The Starbucks seats are a cost cutting measure done for two different things, I believe. One is obviously cost cutting. The other, is a bit darker(and just a rumor) is that in California, the Starbucks stores were required to allow ALL people who asked to use their restrooms access, even IV drug addicts who would take chairs into the bathroom and do their stuff and crap themselves, then leave a mess or destroy the restroom(or worse. Heard about a few overdoses in Starbucks restrooms in San Francisco). That is just what I have heard.

I play a really good mobile game that barely ever has ads. There are 3 forms of in game currency and one of those can only be bought. In the games main currency, a character will be 4000 but in the bought one it costs about 188. At least it isn't ads every second tho.

I think it’s a sign of mental illness and anxiety about other people but how do you help people who don’t want to be helped. Yeah. The characters you get for free are not bad, it's not super hard to get currency for gatcha as a free to play, and some events (like one rn) give you free characters and weapons. All the best parts of the game (the story, the world, the events) are completely free and very high quality imo. I'm largely free to play (I've spent 20$) and I have nearly every 4 star character and 2 5 star characters +1 weapon. I've only been playing since late March.

@@loviebeest I lost count of how many pre build systems with weird issues due to bloatware i had to deal with over the years. Usually ended up wasting hours trying to get windows to behave as expected, only to end up making a clean reinstall. Needless to say I'm not a fan, especially given Win10 already provides basic protection, if it hasn't been broken by mcafee&co. If if works for you, more power to you.
