I think mo stayed out of it because it was the first season. I guess Kelly was the ‘Beyoncé’ of the group so she probably thought if she went against her, her check would be cut (booted off the show). Because on marriage bootcamp and love and hip hop she was kind confrontational.

The real kicker was that it was never her idea. We now know from the reunion that it was the producers idea, and they allowed Kelly to take the credit for the "storyline" since she was the biggest star there, which would push the story further. However, she took it too far by hiring who she wanted and spearheading the project.
