I love Natty & this song is too good !! Usually krnb & khiphop artists are more explicit with their lyrics compared to kpop you should definitely listen to more !! Jay park actually founded two of the biggest krnb/hiphop companies in Korea

Jay Park was born & raised in Seattle so he grew up on 90's R&B & hiphop, Usher, JayZ, Nas, Tupac are some of his favs, he does R&B, hiphop & pop, he also was a member of a competitive bboy crew he is founder & former CEO of the 2 biggest Hiphop/ R&B labels in Korea & is currently founder & CEO of his 3rd label & of Won Spirits an alcohol company, he was also the first Asian signed to Roc Nation, he does both hiphop & R&B and has been doing more hiphop then R&B over the past few years but this year he is finally putting out another R&B album for his largely female fanbase, he is so good at doing 90's R&B & hiphop, doesn't do it as much as I want him to but when he does he does it right

Thanks for reacting to Jay Park even if it was incidental in this case! About the comment of adult content in Korean music it's important to note that it's mostly a k-pop specific thing and Korean R&B and hip hop are just as explicit as they are anywhere else. A lot of that has to with music shows because k-pop performances are broadcast on both network and public TV channels and Korean TV is famously pretty censored. Jay Park is the dude who got me into Korean music. He's a crazy talented singer, dancer, and rapper. He is from Seattle and originally moved to South Korea to be trained as an idol. He debuted as the front man of JYP's K-Pop boy group 2PM, but then some throwaway myspace comments he made as a teenager about Korean culture went viral and lead to him being cancelled so he left JYP and came back to the US. He went back to SK later to form two of the biggest hip hop labels in Korea and was signed to Roc Nation (yes that Roc Nation) for his English music. I highly recommend you react to Jay Park's killing verse as it lets you hear him as a rapper and a singer, and a sample of a bunch of his songs. He also did an absolutely incredible Tiny Desk but if you don't know his music I would wait to watch that. PLEASE listen to more Jay Park I beg 😤

Yea a lot of older fans switched to khh n krnb naturally because were more familiar and comfortable with it. Both genres blew up fast because of older kpop fans just naturally transitioning over the years. Now it's a globally respected and listened genre alongside kpop.
