I still have this on vhs. One of my most prized possessions. Everything about this was just so beautiful. I've seen thousands of battles but only a few of them make you feel like it's the first time watching them and this is one of them.

これは驚いた！初めて日本チームが世界大会でスパルタニックロッカーズが優勝した映像を55歳になった今見れるとは！　しかも植木豪がいた事知らなかった！彼が一番光ってたね。スタイルエレメンツに勝った要因として、彼の存在がとても大きかったんだなと。これも初めて知った！

Thanks for posting this video with the alternative angle and also names included! When I first watched this battle a long time ago, it took a while to figure out who is who since I wasn’t familiar with their dance style at the time, so it’s nice to be able to put a name to the face especially for anyone watching this amazing battle for the first time.
