Pointless achievement, wasn't it a failed mission?

@@2023japan Japan did not bring progress to humanity this time. they failed, and the countries that landed on the moon earlier than Japan include the US, USSR(Russia), China, and India. Among them, there are still probes from the US and China on the moon to this day Unfortunately Japan's probe only works a few hours and was dead quickly.
Japanese media is kinda infamous for being too critical about own country and tries to minimize the country's accomplishment as much as possible. Maybe too many non Japanese ethnicity citizens control the media from within?
It's ok because the world really recognizes and appreciates Japan in all aspects and you guys just keep being yourself and always be humble👏 No need to add unnecessary drama just to boost ego and fake patriotism like some neighboring countries would do, you know which ones😊
I'm very proud of JAXA staff because they never gave up such challenging projects! I felt depressed when I heard the news that JAXA had failed to launch a H3 rocket last year. Some media outlets accused the agency of the accident severely.
If the hopping rover would have had a mirror, the situation might have been mitigated to some extent, aiming sunlight to a visible part of SLIM's PV panels. Something to think of by all space agencies. Without redundant actuators, it remains a gamble just to rely on simulated lander physics.
