Nolan North has a small part in TLOU, I believe he was Dave in that. They've worked on previous God of War games before this one, but I believe they were different games. Troy was in God of War Ascension as Orkos and some other various parts in that game. Nolan was Hades in God of War 1.

It makes so many people not discover funny dialog options you can get if you hang on for a few more seconds after they're done talking about it, like the one you missed there.

Fun fact the scene where Sindri tosses and apple at Kratos, in Greece if any man who wanted to propose to a woman would have to toss her an apple. If she caught it, he knew she accepted his offer. That’s why Kratos doesn’t even touch it but just slices it. However it’s just an old rumor. The devs added this for some comedy I believe.

That myth is likely tied to the story of how a huntress was bested in a race against a suitor, she told him that he would only marry her if he beat her in a race. He did so by dropping three golden apples (from the goddess of love) which she stopped to pick up.

Honestly don't get why y'all keep saying that, you can clearly see Kratos reaching for the axe waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before Sindri even thinks of tossing the apple!!!! I don't think Kratos ever cared for what that meant, there's a lot of Greek stuff not present even in the old games that are far more important than a dumb rumor about proposing with an apple. Stop.

Ohhh, my favorite part of this whole game is happening next episode. Such an amazing reveal, great drama, superb acting, and the action intense. It’s great seeing players react to it. It’s wild how Kratos plants his axe deep into Magni’s skull, turns, and slow walks up to Modi, like he’s Michael Myers. That’s terrifying. No wonder Modi ran.

With the death of Magni, we know that we are for sure not following the original Norse mythology, as both Magni and Modi are said to have survived Ragnarök in the original Norse. Magni didn't even make it to Ragnarök here.

Confirmed, balls now purple, unable to withstand the pain of this cliffhanger haha. But yeah, this game is just one big scene, no cuts, so it draws you in. You blink and poof, there went 5 hours. Also, some enemies like the Travelers require some shield usage. Other enemies are easier if you just punch them. That's the thing with game difficulties, easier ones are less frustrating but don't encourage the player to learn extra mechanics, since they are not needed to advance. Harder difficulties can be absurdly frustrating but it forces the player to learn and use the full set of moves, cause everything twoshots or oneshots you.

Hi, I love your GoW videos. I'm writing this comment before watching the video. I know that maybe things will happen in the future that you might want to know more about the old stories, and you'll want to see a summary but don't do that. I've seen channels that will start playing in 2018 and went to see it and only got spoilers because of extremely bad videos, and others that decided to play the classics and loved them. Don't look for anything from the old ones because you have the feeling that if you play the first one from 2005 you will love the game. so be patient. hug 🤗

if you want combat tips specific to you here they are 1. you love trying to throw the axe. Its not good to do in melee range because your melee swings are just better at both hitting multiple enemies, its faster and they do more damage. Its really noticeable when atreus trys to choke a guy out and instead of going up to the enemy and doing a heavy attack, you throw the axe at them. You have free reign to do whatever you want in that instance and youre taking a low damage option 2. travelers are a very look for the opening type of enemy. They test your patience more than most types of enemies. If youre swinging at them willy nilly youre wasting your time 3. you love using runic attacks off cooldown but you gotta remember they dont have infinite range, gotta get in range before you do em not combat related, but door related: youre just trying to find when your chisel makes a loud sound and press the button. Usually you have to hold an angle that feels a little weird. you can absolutely press the button too early, but you cant push it too late, so just make sure its making the proper hissing noise before committing to a jab. itll save you frustration when they become more precise on gullveig: kratos admitting he misses faye is really considerate for him and i think he was genuinely asking atreus about it to get to know him. and on the end, yes its the biggest blue balling ever :)
