Even though we can just program that in the radio these days, it helps to design it in by angling the servo horns. You get more resolution out of the servo if the physical geometry starts out closer to what you want it to be, rather than trying to do it all in the radio.

Both good points. Aileron length shorter same as for spoilers and differential movement up and down governed by airfoil used.
