it is an awesome machine. I was the one running it and it makes smaller jobs like this very easy to do and it nice because you don't need a trip axle with a tag along trailer to haul it like you would with a Huber etc. I tow it on my 28 ft Kaufman trailer with my F550. very convenient

DuBez37. where did u guys get those tires, do u have a contact
@dubez37847 жыл бұрын
yah i get them right through our local bobcat dealer or northeast tire in belmont NH . we have them on our skids because they ware much better on asphalt compared to the stock tires . ive been getting 3 years on a set of these. of course if you have a cowboy running the maching and spinning unnesaserrily on them then they will ware sooner.

DuBez37 do you have one that has gps thinking about getting one if I can afford it after a get a skid steer if I find one I like and big enough for what I wanna do with it
@dubez37846 жыл бұрын
@@jalenwalshak3598 no I dont have the GPS setup , I've been thinking about getting it because then o could do laser grading but it's pretty damn expensive and we own a huber grader and a Cat 120m road grader so I dont think it would be as of much use for me

Great job on your project, it looks like the all wheel steer machine is perfect for that attachment. I have a T595 and it is only rated by Bobcat for the smaller grader without the power moldboard shift. I should have gone up to the 600 series machine. Didn't do enough research on the products, dammit!
@dubez37847 жыл бұрын
cat637d thank you . yah it really is perfect , it doesnt destroy the grade at all and allows for smoother turning . we own 2 of the A770 all wheel steer machines and i love them , wont own another skid, tons of power and very fluid.

@@dubez3784 Does the all wheel work as good as a track? Im trying to figure our what to buy as my first machine?
@dubez37846 жыл бұрын
@@flienlow6281 it depends on what u will be doing most with it. I do a variety of projects with this machine from tear outs , grading , shoulder gravel with our road widener to just working around my paver cutting joints ect. if it is strictly for gravel applications I would say the track would be a bit better but if u do a variety of things the all wheel steer will be better. the big benefit is u can drive on landscaping and newly paved areas with leaving a damage , it's a pretty impressive machine.

Looks like your doing a nice job. I have run a Huber for many years and am thinking about one of these. I like to look at the bottom of the back of the blade on either edge to see what I am doing, can you see the that with this blade? Thanks
@dubez37846 жыл бұрын
you can a little but you have to lean forward a bit in your seat but that is what I do to run it. I know have a slope level mounted on it instead of the level u see here . really helps with getting the pitch right.

Do you run this with the arms in the float mode?
@dubez37847 жыл бұрын
ootsam no u run it with the arms all the way down and use the curl to adjust the pressure u put on the front wheels. you want minimum down pressure on those front wheels . if u were in float it would make it tough to be accurate with the blade.

I've been running skids and graders for 22 years and for smaller driveways and small areas the bucket is fine especially if you have a tilt tach attachment but for a parking lot this size there is NO way anyone can accurately grade the cross slope with just a bucket
