My Hollyland Lark M2 with the magnet is about 12 grams and is smaller. I would love to see you do a comparison review of these tiny mics.

It working plugged directly into the GoPro is an awesome feature!

I agree with you on the battery light, but turning from green to orange after 80% would be a bit much. I think it should stay green until it drops to 50%, orange between 50% and 20%, and red when it falls below 20%...

Great review as always. JBL has something very similar to this called the JBL quantum wireless. There’s is for a single user, but it looks like it does the same things.

Nice concise review. There are so many of these devices available. The only thing it didn't handle as well was the shouting but who does that anyways. Btw the dongle receiver does it only connect to phones and action cameras? Could this be used with a mirrorless camera with an audio jack?

Sounds good. Lacks a few features but this is a very intentional product for quick setup and go. The small form factor and case for the win.

When you did the Loudness test, which gain setting did you have it set to on the Rode Wirless Micro? Hoping that can be improved? The audio level definitely dipped on the micro vs the pro model.

Just wish this could take a lav mic & had pass through charging. Is there sound playback while the receiver is in the phone? Any active noise cancellation?

Wondering does the transmitter work with the Rode Caster video ?

Did you try any mirrorless camera ? Does it still work ? 😅

From other reviews it doesn't work, as it needs the camera to power the receiver.

It still doesn’t solve my problem of wanting to Video conference with an iPad. I teach online, so I want a relatively high quality mic. The problem is, while Facetiming, there is no way to control separate the mic input from the audio output. So what I want to know is what happens when you use this with facetime with airpods, or even earpods, on. Will this work as a mic and will you get the audio from the other person in your headphone? If so, this would be an instant buy for me, but having tried to solve this issue for years, i’m skeptical.

The Hollyland Lark M2 is smaller and lighter. Most cases cheaper with similar audio quality. Hope you do a comparison between the two.

It is 24 bit according to the data sheet on the Rode website 👌🏼

It’s still pretty big. The circular ones hollyland make are pretty small .. something like that from Rode or dji would be cool

nice video , as for the product , a bit late to the game , and no passthrough charging ? people would use this for live on TikTok , you need to be able to charge your phone at the same time , most of the competition has this

Şahsen rode wireless pro larla ses karşılaştırmasını duymak isterdim hemde ek lavaliver mikrofon takılmış hallerini de ekleyerek. Birde rode wireless go 1 ve go 2 ler samsung galaxy note 20 ultra ile yazılım güncellemesi sonrası çalışmıyorlar. Bunun samsung exnos işlemcili versiyonda çalışıp çalışmayacağını pro dahil öğrenmek isterdim.

Can't see the batteries lasting long. That will lead to frequent charging and early failure. If it has user replaceable batteries I'll buy it.
