I would have to agree, expecially the "producrion value" of this video - they nailed the corporate Newzcasts. The broadcaster's fake, auto-pilot acting and the mindless delivery is spot on. The nonsense news bites scrolling across the bottom are hilarious. I love the incredibly perfect segways between pieces, and I lol everytime at the absurdity of the typhoon-in-the-house couple, and hurricane boy - both are perfect mockery of the typical over-the-top, "shocking" hype stories.

@MrRobinJerome7 жыл бұрын
FriedOutMukke oh yeah the Rest of REM Songs would be much cooler if they had more influence of Punk
@IdiotAmigo6 жыл бұрын
@@MrRobinJerome Check out their earlier albums, there's much more of a punk influence there. Also 1994's "Monster", 2008's "Accelerate". A personal favorite of mine which really rocks is "Begin the Begin". Also dig their dark, kind of grungey rock songs such as "Oddfellows Local 151", "I Remember California". R.E.M. is such an eclectic band, the range of diversity in their songs almost equals the Beatles' output. There's melancholy ballads, folksy songs with acoustic guitar and mandolin, sunshiny pop songs, dark moody grunge, energetic rockers and experimental electronics. I love R.E.M., and I'm sure their catalog has something to offer for everyone (even hip-hop - "Radio Song", "The Outsiders".)

R.E.M. had so many unique qualities and each guy in the band brought something special to the table. Mike Mills is a phenomenal bassist (and keyboardist) and one of the best complementary vocalists in rock history; Peter Buck had that distinctive jangly thing and hardly ever played traditional solos; Bill Berry's drumming was never boring and he had a strong influence on the songwriting; and Michael Stipe evolved from this shy, waiflike former art student to become one of the greatest rock-and-roll vocalists of all time in a new-wavy college band with an intriguing Southern heritage. Quite a story, wouldn't you say?

And so, in 2008, Michael walked over to Peter during a song and told him something, pointing at me with a good smile :D !
