Truth be told: I haven't listened to anything from Rufus Du Sol up until today. I found out about this group from a handwritten note given to me by a woman that I've been absolutely captivated by for the past few months. We both are still cautiously learning more about each other when we have the time to see one another and we're both recovering from our pasts, but to say I am absolutely enamored would be an understatement. I have never met anyone else like her. The level of magnetism and attraction (emotional, intellectual, physical) is utterly indescribable. Today I took out her handwritten note and put the name "Rufus Du Sol" in my Pandora while I was taking a walk, and this was the first song, of any of theirs, that I've ever heard to come on. I sometimes have a hard time describing my feelings - but this song, coincidentally the first one heard from them, hit the nail on the head for me - especially every time I see her and have to leave her. The euphoria, the depth, the emotion, the longing... all wrapped up in four minutes and thirty seconds. I've got nowhere to go, nowhere to go. I don't wanna leave right now, so stay with me for one night. Cause this feels right, I don't wanna let the lights go down, and I don't wanna sleep right now... Wish me luck.

I’ve listened to Rufus Du Sol for as long as I can remember. My only question is…how do they continue to hit me in the feels continuously. I honestly thought after Innerbloom there could be no song to top it and then they dropped ‘On My Knees’ and ‘Alive’. This however, has absolutely blown me away. Just when I needed this song and it’s lyrics, it has spoken. Once again…I must thank Rufus Du Sol for connecting my soul to music after being disconnected for so long.
