@@charliereadabook is that quite new? It sounds super classic fantasy but the series isn't finished yet right?

@@timburbagereads came out in 2021 - reads like a D&D campaign. The second book (a prequel) came out this year and is my favorite book of the year so far. That one, however, doesn’t have the main character of Blacktongue though and they are the thief.

Just a quick fyi - Ship of Magic works great for the Published in the 90s prompt, since it also ticks off hard mode (that the author has published something in the last 5 years and Hobb has published some short stories in some short stories collections, according to the r/Fantasy rec list). It is my pick for that square, though I have not read it yet 😅 I personally have 10 more books to read, which might seem good, but I want to finish the board by the end of the year, which makes it a lot harder 😅 I am also struggling with the bard prompt - I am planning on reading A River Enchanted by Rebeca Ross, but I don't really have a motivation to pick it up since it's a Celtic inspired story, but spring is nowhere near 😅

@@natasagajic1061 I hadn't noticed it was 1990s. The fun of this challenge is so much can move around and have different options

I’ve heard good things about Ascendant - not sure if it counts but the dragon in it I believe is blind so maybe that could fall into the disabled category
