One sad news can erase all the smiles of the day, and this one definitely does. Bishop John Henry Sheard, who was the pastor of the Greater Mitchell Temple Church of God in Christ, in Detroit has passed away. The bishop was also the chairman of the board of bishops of the Church of God in Christ.
He was born in Mississippi, on the 27th of March, 1937 to the late O.S and Kizziah Sheard. His father was the pastor of the first church of Church of God in Christ, which has since then become a household name as it has denominations all over the world.
