False rape claims should be illegal. It’s defamation after all. Edit: people keep saying that it is illegal. What I meant to say was that false rape claims should be punished more.
@plebisMaximus3 жыл бұрын
It should be in a class of its own. This shit WILL ruin someone's life. Even if the accuser comes out and says it was a lie all along, some people won't get the memo. Your life is fucked for good.

what happens if someone who legitametaly got raped reported it but had no evidence of it?
@pigeon19233 жыл бұрын
@@thelivingliver6715 good question! If there's proof that someone is lying then yes. Such as: - CCTC footage of the accused no where near the victim at the time of their alleged assault - the accuser and accused never ever met in their lives - clear proof of the accused making manipulative threats of destroying someone's life, family and career just because they're in the position to do so - blackmailing the accused by saying they'll make up false rape claims if they don't get what they wanted e.g.(money, relationship, a child etc.) - confession of guilt after realising that they made a serious claim and have no way of getting out of the situation they created A lot of people seem to confuse the two. But there's a clear difference. No one is saying to prosecute victims who don't have enough proof, but to prosecute liars who end up discrediting the real victims. Some victims who don't EVER speak up about their assault because it wasn't believed first time, who get assaulted multiple times their life but never come forward because the ONE time they tried to seek justice for it they get called a liar. Many feel like they have to say they lied and made up the assault because they don't want their integrity torn apart in the court of law and to go through the trauma of having to face the person who brutally violated you say to your face that you made everything up. At 26:11 , is a great example of someone using a false rape claim as a manipulation tactic but after they realised that this is a serious matter backpedaled on their claims and admitted they liedm. This is defamation as that person will always be linked to that accusation. Then there's irreparable damage to any other victims as this lowers their chances of being believed and giving real rapists the upper hand. I'm sick and tired of it.
@commentbot95103 жыл бұрын

About the ACNH one: There are limited skin tone options in the game, just like in most games, like Pokémon or Skyrim. It’s hard to find something close to your skin tone, so people will use the closest skin tone. Heck, some people just use them because it looks nice, or maybe they’re trying to match a character. People really just make such a big deal over it, and it’s stupid.

He just had that character when he started playing, and he didn't really care, he just... played the game with that avatar. He doesn't care what his character looks like, he just plays the game and enjoys it. Because ANCH is a video game. The feminist breast feeding one doesn't surprise me if its real. I do have a long drawn out encounter with a feminist teacher I had in middle school. In middle school I had a teacher that would always believe female students over male students(even if she knew they were lying and saw it happen) no matter what it was, she would never yell at the female students she had when they acted up but as soon as a male student did anything she didn't like she'd blow up like a thermonuclear warhead. She also liked to indirectly insult the male students (I don't think most of us noticed to be fair I only noticed because I was used to getting bullied) calling them ignorant, fat, etc. However if anyone dare say she was being rude in any way thats off to detention though you were probably already going there anyways for being a guy and talking.

This is kind-of borderline victim shaming, and kind of downright ignorant. From the way I see it. I do not know if you intended it this way, but let me explain the possible reasons as to 'why' she let him back into her life. 1) This is possibly the most realistic out of them all: she had just had a baby. The biological father would most likely have been that man, seeing as they've been together for long enough to let him move in. It could be that they broke up but had sexual relations, she found out she was pregnant, and, not to leave her child without a *biological* father, got back together with him. This is more common than you might think. Because it can be damaging to a child's psyche not knowing who their biological father is, or what they're like. 2) The relationship wasn't previously abusive, and she went back to him as she thought she lost something of 'value'. 3) She was guilt-tripped, or 'needed' to stay, into the relationship. There are plenty of others, but from her tone and context.. these seem the most likely.
@soulsigil82143 жыл бұрын
@@blackmailed1072 I don't agree. Victim shaming would be if I said she deserved to be in that unpleasant relationship because of something she did, or that it all was her own fault etc. (we see this in how women decide to dress and sexual harrasment). I simply asked for the reasoning behind two statements she made. It was rethorical though, since we don't know that woman nor did I expect an answer. It makes not much sense to muse about this anyways, since this is only a glimps in a strangers life.
@blackmailed10723 жыл бұрын
@@soulsigil8214 Saying 'why' to a statement akin to 'I let you back in my life' isn't healthy towards anyone. They have their reasons, and I was only giving the generalized reasons as to why people stay in those types of relationships. I did not say it was victim shaming. I said it was bordering victim shaming. Also having victim shaming as that blunt, and uncareless as a definition is quite ignorant. Victim shaming can come in the form of asking questions like: 'why did you let him back into your life' if you knew most of what he'd done and still asked that question. Because it perpetuates that she should've known he was the bad guy and never took him in.

It's been 2 years since this video came out, but re-watching it has brought back memories from when I was in elementary school. I was bullied for being slower than others, slightly heavier than others (issues with medicine, these have been resolved), and not learning as easily as others. I was also bullied for my last name, because its origin is further towards French/French-Canadian. Nobody did anything about it, not even teachers. The only time the school did anything was when my family got involved and talked to the school board. It disgusts me that schools still don't see bullying for what it really is.

Keep in mind flip the script and a rule in the guide book would see me expelled. And these werent playful flirty punches. These were full force, closed fist, actual punches to my face by someone who was twice my size. - Openly would get targeted by like multiple people. All were male. All were bigger than me. My reputation was so low despite my never doing anything wrong that anyone who interacted with me in a non-negative way would be publicly ostracized. I was considered 'Too weird" for THEATER nerds and Highschool Neckbeards. And when I reported this behavior you know what the principals said? BoYs WiLl bE bOyS. Right? @@Drghost1235 I hate that children can do whatever they want cuz it's just "Children being Children". Like children need freedom to do what they want but not THIS much freedom. Children need to know that there's consequences to actions as severe as this. We can't just push everything under the rug because as an adult they'll have a lot of issues. This behavior usually comes from neglect from the parents or children seeing behaviours like this and thinking it's okay to do the same. (Abuse) So the parents also need to grow up and actually pay attention to their children. @@thelivingliver6715 What is a good feminist? People and femenists claim that femenists stand for egalitarian values and that the movement is egalitarian but frankly when femenists as a movement get their way they never stop at equality instead the conditions negotiated tends to always favor women. Femenists as a movement tend to belive that if you can only fix one of two problems the one solution should be exaggerated to compensate for the other unfixed problem which is mind boggling if the goal is sincere equality. In 2010 or before 2016 I'd probably consider the modern femenists movement a positive aspect of western society but it has been rather clear that's its not and fascinating how fast a movement can corrupt and how easy the initial initiative can change. If femenists today would actually want respect and people to listen maybe they should focus on injustices and burdens that men face unfairly, not just sweep it under the rug and classify it as burdens that are justified by other injustices. Femenists today non ironically want the rights and opportunities of society while simultaneously demanding to take a smaller part of the undesired parts of society that creates those rights and opportunities.

YES, it does. cuz thats the definition of a feminist. someone who supports the rights of everyone equally. it started with women fighting for rights and now that they are seen equal, we support everyone equally. feminazis use that word falsely and they dont deserve it. im really passionate about this topic, so please dont argue with me on this

The post about the mother giving her son a girl gift because he screamed like one reminds me about the time my mom and her husband Damien where in their room and I went to their room when I was about 10 years old. I was very emotional back then so I cried whenever someone said something mean about me. My mother knows this but when I went to her room upset at Damien’s 4 year old son because he pissed his bed, she laughed at me and so did Damien. They called me a girl and pointed and laugh. This made me cry my eyes out, but it lead to anger and I yelled saying “ I hate you mom”. Knowing what I said I ran to my room in fear of getting spanked harder than ever. I hid under my how to train your dragon blanks when my mom walked in yanked the blankets and spanked me harder than I ever had been. I always remember that day and the laughs they made at me. Luckily I live with my Dad who has full custody. My life has been way better without her. I barely meet her now because I just avoid her as best as I can. Wouldn’t you want something that is good quality and lasts forever? That doesn’t get green with humidity? I wouldn’t want an extremely expensive 10 carats diamond ring.. but something that lasted for more than 1 year… because idk if a 30 dollars ring would last for a lifetime… you shouldn’t think the money spent on the ring says something about how much your partner loves you… but it’s nice to get a ring that fits your style of jewelry, is comfortable to wear and lasts forever. My mom got a ring she really loves and she wears it everyday and it looks as good as new even after decades of daily wear. I would love to be able to wear my ring everyday and have it look as good as new.. I agree that the value of the ring doesn’t determine how much your future spouse loves you.
