ট্রেজারির সুদ আর বাড়বে না | Treasury rates at their peaks | The Business Standard

সামষ্টিক অর্থনৈতিক সূচকগুলো ঘুরে দাঁড়ানোর এ সময়টায় সরকার চড়া সুদে ট্রেজারি সিকিউরিটিজের মাধ্যমে টাকা ধার করেই চলবে, এমনটি মনে হচ্ছে না। সেক্ষেত্রে সুদ চক্রের নিয়ম অনুসারে দশ বিশ বছর মেয়াদী ট্রেজারি বন্ডগুলোর ইল্ড বর্তমান ১২ শতাংশের ওপর থেকে ধীরে ধীরে তাদের ঐতিহাসিক গড় ৮-৯ শতাংশে নেমে আসবে। প্রতি এক শতাংশ কমার বিপরীতে ২০ বছর মেয়াদী ট্রেজারি বন্ড থেকে ২০% পর্যন্ত মূলধনী মুনাফা পাওয়া সম্ভব এবং ব্যাংক বীমা সহ বড় প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক বিনিয়োগকারীরা সেখানে সুযোগ খুঁজছে। এদিকে চলমান দরপতন শেয়ারবাজারেও সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করছে। তবে ব্যাংক ঋণের সুদ হার আরো কিছুদিন ঊর্ধ্বমুখী থাকতে পারে বিধায় ঋণগ্রস্ত কোম্পানির ইপিএস অন্তত দুই প্রান্তিক চাপে থাকবে। বিপরীতে যাদের হাতে নগদ বেশি তাদের সুদ আয় বাড়বে।
