কোরবানি ঈদে ১৬টি অস্থায়ী পশুর হাট বসছে রাজধানীতে। এরমধ্যে আফতাবনগর হাটের ইজারাই সর্বোচ্চ। যা দেড় কোটির টাকার বেশি। ইজারা দরপত্র কিনতে অনেকেই ভিড় করছেন দুই সিটি করপোরেশনে। তাদের কেউ কেউ বলছেন- এ বছরের ইজারা বেশি ধরা হয়েছে। আর সিটি কর্পোরেশন বলছে, বিগত তিন বছরের ইজারার গড় মূল্যের সাথে ১০ শতাংশ যোগ করেই বর্তমান দাম নির্ধারণ হয়েছে।

সিটি করপোরেশন যদি এতো পরিমান রাজস্ব আদায়ের টার্গেট নেয়, তাইলে ইজারদাররাই বা কি লাভ করবে আর হাট সংশ্লিষ্ট লোকজন কি লাভ করবে? এতে করে যে গরুর দাম বাড়বে না এবার তার নিশ্চয়তা কি?
