Fun fact: Rákóczi wanted to liberate Hungary from the barbarian Habsburg government in the begining of 1700

Eh look im czech so i dont like the austrian empire either, but i like the Austro-Hungarian empire because its government was less... 'Barbaric'.

@@OesterreichUngarischeMonarchie yeah... they think if they give equal rights to us Hungarians as the Germans that all the problem will stop in the empire and doesn't cared of the other minorities. Also in the begining of the 20th century, there were a Austro-Slavic idea that would give the Slavs equal rights

@@pek1 I think that the only mistake Austria-Hungary made was not federelising soon enough or rather giving only hungary more rights... exactly Hungary became the biggest problem, being against the formation of a federation. The idea of nations came later on and the Empire forgot how to adapt... or rahter it did it too slowly.

@@pek1 Exactly, sadly though we had a rougher and harder future ahead of us(ww2 40 years of Communism)... While we could have lived in one of the most prospering countries in Europe.. Plus we would still have an Emperor.
