There are good number of Structural Engineers capable of plan and design the buildings and structures, for example Santiago Calatrava, Fazlur Rahman Khan, Gustave Eiffel and don't forget that world renowned architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier and Tadao Ando did not have an architecture degree or formal training. Architecture is also an art. Not just a degree, don't forget that. Architecture can be self taught, any subject in this world can be self taught.

So what??.. during the time of FL wright and all ,there were no renowned courses as of today,relating to architecture..even if it was there,now things are not as same as those days...you think the people who take a 5 year architectural degree has nothing to do with this?.. They've been taught a long way how to interact with spaces and art.. You can call yourself an architect or people you want to as architects..it doesn't matter..but as of 2020,to become an officially registered architect,you should have a 5 year b.arch degree along with the Registration from the Council Of Architecture and don't think that is an easy path..

I have been searching for it like if there any special condition exists under COA norms for taking aspirants who are out of that age. Like normal graduate programs may offer some sorta such feasibility under some specified universities or so to allow people who cant undertake regular course yet some sorta in campus course like..even abroad some countries allows the few year plus work experience under an architect provides an architect qualification, which india govt still aint considered.. if any such info, please let me know. Even on a future date also. Will be very helpful.

orikalum illa,,, u need to put all your struggle and hard work in a portfolio,, and that determine epo work kittum ennu... i am an architect (ahh just because COA approved my registration) its been 4 years I graduated, like all idiot I thot middle east is best option .,, flew over here worked as site architect for 4 years and then I thot I never had a better portfolio to show,,, now mostly il be ending up as a Quantity Surveyor,, The course and job ma be hectic but trust me nothing brings as joy as designing.

A contractor should have a civil engineer with him to control the quality of works. Contractor alone is a fool supplying the labours and cordinating to do work in our locality. I can challenge the contractors. All the houses and buildings they do alone, I can find a number of mistakes from them.
