每年“闹菜荒”的时候 只有地里的白菜苔，是吃不完的 白菜苔，就是小白菜从菜芯里抽出的苔 掐苔的尖部食用，色泽翠绿，鲜嫩可口 它的吃法有很多，不管凉拌，炒，煮汤都好吃 尤其是加点腊肉和米饭一起焖，配上米汤，没菜也能吃三碗
