Imandhi Ramarao is biased. He says ANR have got 3 or 4 banners. If that is the case, how can he act in almost 250 films. False statement. He is purely One sided and supporter of NTR. AFTER some years, he ma tell that NTR can act in any role including DEVADASU, premnagar , Premabhishekam and he was the only Telugu movie hero. Anchor should have minimum knowledge about the old hero’s and their box office range. Even in janapadam films, ANR reached new heights with films like Balaraju, Keelugurram and suvarna Sundari. 2 movies celebrated silver jubilees whereas NTR had only one with Pathala Bhairavi. Ramarao should come out with facts. Otherwise old people like me will laugh at his statements.

Madam, thank u. In Black and white films MOOGAMANASULU IS THE BIGGEST HIT whereas in colour films, PREMABHISHEKAM WAS A BLOCKBUSTER. None of the NTR films could cross these two movies. That was ANR range. His audience were students, young people and especially ladies. They used to show their liking silently without any hangama.

Looks like you are a dire fan of ANR :) What Imandhi said is partially true. ANR mostly acted in Dukkipati's Annapoorna, Adurthi's Babu movies and a couple more. That's why he said ANR has 3 or banners. Coming to hits - NTR's Malliswari, Patahalabhairavi, Jayasimha and many more. Also, NTR played variety of roles where as ANR played it safe. Manavada, Malliswari hit movie na. It was a 10 weeks film even in Vijayawada in 1951 in saraswathi theatre.Babu movies produced only 2 films with ANR, Manchi manasulu and moogamanasulu, both were blockbusters. Annapurna productions is his own banner. Babu, Premabhishekam Guntur lo one year. 300 days run in Nellore, Vijayawada and vizag directly. It has beaten all the previous records of tollywood.i like NTR in mythologicals, ANR in social films, Kantha Rao in folklore films. Do u know Sunderlal nahtha produced 8 films with NTR, but shanthinivasam produced with ANR was a blockbuster.. That was ANR range in social films. U go thro SV RAMA RAO books and know the realistic information.
