忍野八海 〜清流の郷 Oshino Hakkai 〜 Japanese village with flowing clean water

忍野八海は、富士山の裾野にある湧水の池です。
Oshino Hakkai is a spring water pond located at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
地下の溶岩層で、長い歳月をもって濾過された富士山の雪解け水です。
This is snowmelt water from Mt. Fuji that has been filtered
through underground lava layers over many years.
忍野八海は、全国名水百選にも選ばれています。
Oshino Hakkai has been selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan.
澄んだ水の中を多くの魚が悠然と泳いでいます。
Many fish are swimming leisurely in the clear water.
富士山、古民家、それに澄みきった池が幻想的です。
Mt. Fuji, old folk houses, and a crystal clear pond are magical.
金色の魚がひときわ目を惹きつけます。
The golden fish attracts the eye.
池の底に映る無数の魚の影も印象的です。
The countless shadows of fish reflected
on the bottom of the pond are also impressive.
それぞれの池を結ぶように清流が流れています。
A clear stream flows to connect each pond.
川のほとりを散歩するのも気持ちが良いです。
It's also pleasant to take a walk along the river bank.
時折見える富士山の雄大な姿に感動を覚えます。
